Dates-n-Mates support love and friendship for adults with learning disabilities in Scotland.
Membership is open to adults over the age of 18 with a learning disability.
Dates-n-Mates Membership
Becoming a member, will provide access to all Dates-n-Mates events, workshops and opportunities.
Membership is linked to one local branch however you will also have the opportunity to connect with other people across Scotland.
You will receive invites to a varied monthly programme of social events, workshops and other activities.
You will also have guidance and support with friendships and relationships. You can go on dates and make new friends.
As a member-led project, you can share your ideas and influence the events we offer.
Members can gain champion points for volunteering with Dates-n-Mates, sharing ideas and helping other members… with an annual prize for the most points in each area!
£10 per month / £120 per year

Membership Process and Eligibility
To become a Dates-n-Mates member, you need to be over the
age of 18 with a diagnosed learning disability.
Our local branches are in Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire, Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire.
There is a short application form to complete, followed by a
chat with a Dates-n-Mates colleague. Then we collect two short
references. These references are to confirm eligibility (over 18, with a
learning disability) and to ensure safe guarding for all members.
