FUNDING NEWS!

Dates-n-Mates Glasgow is delighted to announce that we have been awarded £20K a year for 2 years from our friends at the National Lottery £20K for all fund!

The National Lottery said:

Every day National Lottery funding is changing the lives of thousands of people in communities across Scotland for the better. This project delivered by Dates-n-Mates, is a great example of community activity in action, showing just what can be achieved when people come together for a common cause or to help others.

“National Lottery players can be proud to know that the money they raise is helping to support this vital work which is making a real difference to so many.”

Where friendships matter!

Dates-n-Mates helps challenge the barriers adults with learning disabilities face in building friendships and developing meaningful, long lasting relationships. Our monthly programme of social events in main steam venues across Glasgow gives adults with learning disabilities the chance to build their social circle and actively participate in their communities.

Our monthly Snooker League (pictured above), is just one example of what this money means to our members.
