Launch of brand new Dates-n-Mates Stirling and Clackmannanshire!
We are delighted to announce that thanks to the Mental Health and Wellbeing funding supplied by Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise and CTSI Alloa, we now have 2 new Dates-n-Mates branches opening in Stirling and Clackmannashire.
We launched our new branches at Bob and Berts in Stirling, with over 30 people coming along to wish us well!
Thank you to everyone who turned up, including NHS, Clackmannanshire Social Work, potential new members and staff from other branches.
And a special thank you goes to our Falkirk members who helped the event run smoothly, and particularly to James Goodwin Photography, for giving up his time and donating the pictures.
We are looking forward to new members joining in both areas, taking part in our monthly events and making new friends along the way!
In our first event in Stirling, 8 people came along to our coffee and cake meet up, where we plan events for the coming months and see what type of activities people want to do.
So as well as bingo, bowling, pub nights, meals out, snooker etc, we also look at what’s going in the local area and what we can get involved in.
So don’t be shy – if you live in and around Stirling and Clackmannanshire, get in touch and get active! Start making friends and living the life!
