Launch of West of Scotland Newsletter

We are delighted to announce the return of our much anticipated West of Scotland Dates-n-Mates Newsletter!

This is the first Newsletter since 2019, and it’s great to have all our face-to-face events up and running again after such a long absence!

And there’s been lots to celebrate! We kicked off the year with our Spring Ball, closely followed by the Glasgow Kiltwalk, TRNMST and We’ve Got Talent.

We’ve gone for countless meals out, trips to museums, taken an  open top bus tour round Glasgow and a boat trip round Castle Semple in Lochwinnoch – to name just a handful!

Its been a great few months, and we’re looking forward to more to come!

We’ve also been running lots of Friendship matches and Chaperoned dates, which is a great way for our members to meet one-to-one, with a volunteer or staff member on hand to help with the conversation if things get a bit sticky!

And if you’re worried about what to say on a date, we’ve been running our “Friendly Face” and”What to say after Hello” workshops – these will help give our members the confidence to chat to new people, make new friends and build lasting relationships.

We’ve also be delivering a number of Sexual Health and Relationships workshops, concentrating on issues like boundaries and consent, as well as what does a good relationship look like, how to navigate those early days and how to make sure you get what you need from a relationship.
