We hosted our first ever annual conference as an independent charity on 19 August 2024: ‘Love Without Limits’. 

Following this, we launched our Love Without Limits campaign and committed to hosting a conference each year. We chose this topic to ensure that we all continue to uphold human rights and highlight the barriers that people with learning disabilities face surrounding relationships.

In 2020 a report by Scottish Commission for Learning Disabilities (SCLD) found that 52% of people occasionally, sometimes, or often felt lonely and that only 3% of respondents were married compared to 47% of the general population.  By supporting our campaign or attending our conference – together we can challenge the barriers and stigma people face around relationships, dating, sex and love to send a powerful message that everyone has the right to love and be loved!

Our 2026 Love Without Limits Conference will be held on Thursday 10th September 2pm – 5pm in Aberdeen.
