We are offering an exciting opportunity for an individual with a learning disability to join our team in Aberdeen as a Director.
About the role:
As a director, you will work alongside Dates-n-Mates colleagues, volunteers, and members to ensure Dates-n-Mates offers meaningful opportunities for adults with learning disabilities across Aberdeen and the North-East of Scotland.
As a director, you will be involved in organising and delivering events, promoting Dates-n-Mates, sharing your ideas, and welcoming new members.
You will represent and be a role model for our members and other people with a learning disability.

Dates-n-Mates is an organisation run by and for adults who have a learning disability. Our work is underpinned by a human rights-based approach. We believe it is people’s right to live life free of discrimination and to develop relationships of their choosing, to love and be loved. Influenced by our members, we organise social events where opportunities for new friendships are created.
