Dates-n-Mates were a finalist in the Charity of the Year category at the 2024 Scottish Charity Awards.
After only our first year as an independent charity, this is a huge achievement that we are so proud of!
Dates-n-Mates colleagues, members and volunteers attended the Awards Ceremony in Glasgow on the 20th of June.
Although we did not win the award, we had a wonderful evening celebrating and hearing all about the other amazing people and organisations in the room!

Our teams and members have had a great year, with over 630 social events hosted across Scotland. Alongside this we have welcomed more people with lived experience of a learning disability on to our staff team and board. Many friendships and relationships have been formed and confidence continues to grow. Being a finalist in the Scottish Charity Awards is the icing on the cake… and a wonderful celebration of everything Dates-n-Mates has experienced this year.
